Is there a way to actually use the apps that are on my iPod, and use them on my desktop computer?

Some of them are very cool, and I wouldnt mind playing the Scrabble game while chilling at home and listening to iTunes from my desktop PC.

It would be much more enjoyable playing the game on a 27 inch monitor instead of the touch's 3.5.

    Any way to do this?

When I open iTunes on my desktop PC, select "Applications", I see them all listed there, but I'm not able to play with them.

    No, that is impossible.
You can't just play any game on any hardware.
The apps on the App Store were developed and designed specifically to use the hardware on the iPhone and iPod touch. Someone would have to port it over to Windows/Mac OS.
So, sorry. You'll have to just play Scrabble on your iPod.

If you can persuade the developers to give you the Xcode project files, you could build & go on the simulator…

I've seen this performed on a YouTube Video once.
Was quite curious as to how it was done, myself.
