using command line to install apps

    hey guys i don have a wifi connection.could u tell me how to install n uninstall deb files using dpkg command.thanks in advance.

    I have the .deb for WinterBoard. How do I install it onto my ipod?

    Place the .deb in some folder on your ipod, then cd to that directory, then run dpkg -i *.deb

    what is "cd"? How do I do it on XP?

    cd means change directory... u do this with using command prompt...

    how do I do that in command prompt? SO I have to go to the ipod directory and to the .deb? How do I do that?
