I like to use itunes as little as possible.

Is there a third party program available for free that I can use to get my songs/videos on and off of my ipod?

I want something that would basically simulate a drag and drop like windows explorer and other mp3 players.

Tried going through win scp, found my music, but it was in about 15 different folders on there, and each mp3 file had a funky name.

    Tried Mediamonkey yet?

There's also Winamp but I'm unsure if it has iPod touch support yet.

Hey thanks for the help, I'll try media monkey.

OK, I downloaded and installed media monkey. It has definitely recognized and retrieved the files from my ipod, but my aim is to extract those files from the ipod to a designated folder on my computer (upgrading to 3.0 firmware soon as jailbreak is avail), and I can't seem to get the program to do that. Any pointers?
