Use WIFI On your ipod touch/iPhone when you are ANYWHERE.

What exactly do you mean? You can always join an open wifi network. If you have Netshare then you can tether you iphone and computer.

Well you cant join a wireless network if it has a password that you dont know, you cant crack it on an iPod. And obviously you cant have wifi if theres no wireless network around.

I dont wanna be the bad guy because ive made a thread about this too, but use the searchbar

anyways... no, not anywhere for the ipod, olny where theres a wifi signal and even then you need a password

as for the iphone, theres 3g which is in alot of places

Some cities are developing this, and most college campus's currently have it.... but there is no way to actually get Wifi ANYWHERE.... you must see a wifi signal, and if required you must have its password. Sometimes wifi signals are open and dont have passwords, but then you must pay for Wifi access. I.E. it redirects you to a certain page until you pay. You can sometimes get around this, and lifehacker just posted one possible method:

But keep in mind that it isnt legal, and only works if the Wifi hotspot allows images through.

Theres a Satelite Phone that has wi-fi built-in. You can easily connect your computer to the phone and get boosting speeds at 11MB/S.
