dont place it directly on the screen. wet the paper towel and ring it out so it is just damp .then wipe off the screen

DO NOT use Windex if it has Ammonia in it.

This might be a stupid question but what will the Ammonia do to the screen?

Don't spary directly on the screen because it will soak into the iPod. Make the papertowel / towel damp and then rub it onto the iPod and then dry it offwith either. Every so often I do this to my case and my iPod. Don't worry it's safe

If you are obsessive like me, you can go down to the local eyewear store and get yourself a specialized Eyeglass cleaner, works great for removing oil, dirt from the fingers.

I just breath onto the screen, which fogs it up. Wipe it down with the microfiber cloth and it's completely clean.
