Do you guys remember this post on the front page?
It linked to a tutorial witch explained how to use your iPhone or iPod Touch as a HD witch can boot linux or windows.
I don't like linux or windows so I tried to install Mac OS X on it

As you can see it worked!
First I had to create the virtual disk using the application USB Drive from Cydia, of course.
Then I booted up my Mac with my iPod connected, when starting I held the alt key so I could boot from the (Snow Leopard) DVD.
The installation took about 5 hours, but it showed 30-5 minutes remaining the whole installation

It's not very fast, but it's usable.

What happens if you try to connect to it with iTunes? I just see it going horribly wrong.

As long as the part of the iPod that OS X was running off was reachable while syncing, i dont see why anything would go wrong. and then you could have a backup of your ipod on your ipod

The OS is working through the USB cable. To sync you have to go through the USB. See the problem?

No that shouldn't be a problem at all.

By the way, I could even still use my iPod while Mac OS X was running on my computer.

Nope. This works fine. I could do a number of things through SSH with Ubuntu Live USB on my iPod.
