Is there an app that could turn your ipod into a USB HD without any installation on the PC and no wi-fi either.. doing this in school. Thanks for any suggestions.

Uhh no. You can use DiskAid to transfer files to and from your iPod Touch's media partition. And if you Jailbreak, I think it can access the OS/Root partition also since it has a menu at the bottom left for that.

    Just, use a usb

you could put disk aid program on the usb and copy documents on to your iPod.
Ull, need a jailbroken ipod tho

But, if its small files just use a usb.

You need an App on your iPod to READ the files right? Discover does that. If you want to PUT files on there, you need DiskAid or you can use Discover to send files wirelessly.
