USB Dump of Restore Images?

    I have no idea what cpich3g meant when he said this in a tweet:



    Anyone know what this means, and how to do it?

    Apple is going to push out an update very soon to close out the Ultrawn0w bAeband exploit and possibly that iboot exploit. Just don't update when it comes out, I'm sure people will put out guides later.

    basicly it means stick your ipsw file on a usb and keep it safe because apple are going to update and kill the unlock...

    actually its because with the 3gs, when you want to restore it will contact apples servers and download an ipsw with a specific code for your device inside it. Same when you choose an ipsw. It also means that you might not be able to downgrade.
