Hey guys. Sorry if this has been asked before, did a search and nothing came up.

So I tried to enable battery percentage on my iPT3G but couldn't find it. I used teh googles and found out how to do it via going to General -> Usage then turning battery percentage on.
When I did start to follow that I went to general to find the Usage menu was not there.

What do I do fellow touchers?

You jailbroken? If so use SbSettings and enable it from there.

Pretty sure the touch doesn't get the battery percentage.

I;m pretty sure that the Touch (Or Just 8GB) doesn't get it, Unless you Jailbreak.

Navigate to /Applications/Preferences.app and open General.plist. Where it says USAGE, you must change the requiredCapability from "cellular-data" to a capability your device has, such as "bluetooth".

That will get you the Usage menu.

Then just add "gas-gauge-battery" to the keyCapabilities .plist in /System/Library/CoreServices.
