    Hello.
If anybody has removed their back by themselves, or knows what they're doing - PM ME PLEASE.

    I've removed my back but:

    • A Gold piece of metal fell off when I removed it.
    • The Wifi-receptor or Power button had NO WIRES OR CABLES ATTACHED WHEN I REMOVED IT.
    • The Power button has a chip stuck to the back of the housing. I need advice on how to remve this.

A Gold piece of metal isn't very specific. Look for an iFixit take apart guide though.. can we get some pics so we can see what you are talking about?

well, despite the blurriness, in my experiences those pieces of gold/brass/copper/ (what have you) filaments are to transfer electricity. Now that it is off, you would have to re solder it to the PCB if you can find where it was. Now may I ask why you are destroying your iPod? And I would recommend a small nylon coated tip flathead screwdriver, if you aren't wanting to do much damage, otherwise, needle nose pliers all the way.

    I don't think it is :\
And if it is... It's totally bent out of place now anyway to put back on.

Well, that was one question answered, but what are you trying to achieve?

Oh. I need to review this Gold Back for the guy who sent me it, and to do that, I need to put it on.
It's scratchproof and everything from my tests so far ;D
Still... Just need to get this power thingy off from someone who knows how :|

It would be hard, but If I may say that you are a dumbass for disassembling your iPod, you have voided the warranty and I guess I
ll wish you good luck with it booting because WiFi and/or the sleep/wake button are unlikely to work so it'd be best to just.... use it for a paperweight
