so i just installed lockdock on cydia. and after it installed cydia said 'restart springboard' so i did. it just kept on repsringing. it stayed on the cydia restart springboard screen but had the little loading thing in the middle and it just stayed there.

i held onto the power and home button and restarted. same thing, has the apple boot screen, but the little respring thing in the middle

I'm on firmware 3.1.2 however i have the thing from cydia that makes itunes think my iphone is on 3.1.3

can anyone help? i really need to use my phone

I heard the thing that makes your iPod think it is on 3.1.3 causes many problems with a lot of people. You should restore and...Oh wait I think your screwed. Have you backed up your SHSH?

I really don't want to restore. What's SHSH?

I think the SHSH are just for 3gs. I think you can restore back to 3.1.2 since you were already on it. If not update to 3.1.3 and then jailbreak again with reds0w. The downsaide of upgrading to 3.1.3 is that you cant unlock it yet.

If you can't boot, then no.
