    iPod stuck on boot loop?
My friend's iPod touch would not boot. Here are the Qs that I have asked so far:

    Q: What gen? and GB?
    A: 1G, 16GB.

    Q: Jailbroken?
    A: Yes.

    Q: Ever tried to restore?
A: Only through SETTINGS > GENERAL > RESET. It occurred RIGHT AFTER he did that.

Q: What do you see, when you turn it on?

A: "The apple logo, and the spinning wheel is stuck. Every five minutes or so it turns off. Then it does the same thing.

    1.show the apple logo

    2.spins a couple times

    3.gets stuck

    4.Repeat

    ------------

Seems like it's stuck on boot loop.
    Any solutions here? Thanks!

Thats not a restore, restore using iTunes. How long do you wait after the wheel gets stuck? My jailbroken ipod touch 2g 4.0 spinning wheel things gets stuck before it finishes booting.

EVEN if the iPod is stuck at boot logo, will it even recognize it?

Depending how far the boot gets, try that and then try getting into dfu mode or recovery mode.
