My dad washed my phone and iPod. Is the iPod covered under the warranty? What a horrible day...

I spiled coffee on mine and I just let it dry over night then my iPod worked.

Same with my old iPod Color. I got caught in the middle of a rain and hail storm (it was summer wtf) when I was walking to this kid's house and I let it dry over the night and it worked.

The internet doesn't work and I don't know if its charging well. I might take it to apple and maybe they'll fix it.

They can tell if water touched it from a piece of litmus paper in the headphone jack that changes color if water hits it.
