I swear I asked about this a while ago, but I looked in my posts and can't find anything. I'm currently on iOS 4.0 (iPod Touch 2nd gen, mb model). Since a jailbreak is coming out for 4.1, I wanted to know how to upgrade. If I upgrade normally, all my jailbroken apps would not be accessible (since it would remove the jailbreak, right?). But if I upgraded to 4.1 and then rejailbroke, would all my jailbroken apps come back?

No they won't comeback. But you can install Pkbackup.

On the same subject, would your App store apps stay?

Sort of. But you can sync them over from iTunes.

Will every thing be lost? Themes, SB settings, etc?

I'm on 4.0 jailbroken, so going to 4.1 would clean all of those things out right?

if you use aptbackup and when u finish updating to 4.1, and u choose restore from backup, nope.

When you do a minor upgrade (not like 3.x to 4.x), doesn't it just upgrade what needs to be upgraded instead of restoring? It seems kind of overkill to basically reinstall the entire OS just for a .1 upgrade.
