Well as I wont be able to upgrade to 2.0 [if it comes out on friday, that is!] on friday via an account, i was wondering if i could buy a £25 iTunes gift card and do the upgrade and buy a few apps with that. would i still have to set up an account? and if it all does work, how would i 'transfer' the 'account' onto my ipod so i can buy apps from the app store? thanks in advance
  2. When you press redeem, it should prompt you to set up an account or something...

    I've always had a PayPal.... since age 10... 14 now.... so i wouldn't know.

    It should prompt you though...

And you would definitely be able to buy the upgrade with iTunes card, ppl used it for january before.

you guys reckon i could buy the appstore and firm 2.0 with a $10 Australian Itunes card. note that i said Australian. Plus, 1 Aussie dollar buys around 96 U.S cents
