Ok I have a couple of questions

Will upgrading to 3.0 erase all my data? And if it dosnt will jailbreaking on 3.0 erase the data?

Is jailbreaking easy like quickpwn or redsn0w?

I'm going on vacation and leaving Saturday morning and I want my iPod working and having all my data? I will only upgrade and jailbreak if I can keep all my data.

    Thanks

just sync all your apps to your computer before upgrading then sync them back in and jailbreaking will not erase your data. the 3.0 jailbreak is redsn0w.

use iFunBox to copy all your music and videos to your computer and put them in your itunes library. and for mxtube SSH to /var/mobile/media/mxtube and copy the videos into your itunes also. iFunBox can SSH so you can do it all in one program.
