    1. Is 2.0 easily jailbroken and safe?
    2. I currently have a JB 1.1.4, should I upgrade and would I lose all of my songs? (Most of my songs aren't on itunes anymore)
    3. What are the downsides of upgrading to 2.0?
    4. I heard there is a newer firmware like 2.0.1 what about that?
    5. Not exactly 2.0 Q but what about 1.1.5? Is it inferior to 2.0 in every way and I shouldn't consider upgrading to it?

    Please and thank you.

    1 - Yes

2 - If they aren't in iTunes then yes you will lose them - though note that this will happen if u upgrade or downgrade to ANY firmware

    3 - Nothing really - I love it

4 - You can download a 2.0.1 regualr IPSW then customize it with WinPWN and restore a pwned ipod with it

    5 - NOOOO!!! DOnt upgrade to 1.1.5

You will not lose the songs that is in iTunes
    3. What are the downsides of upgrading to 2.0?
Not many of the apps in installer is ported to 2.0 yet(they wont work on 2.0)
    4. I heard there is a newer firmware like 2.0.1 what about that?
Yes, and it's free if you have 2.0. It fixes a lot of bugs and make you ipod run faster(i think)

Sorry, don't know what 1.1.5 does

Thank you! 2.0 looks very promising BUT I don't think I can afford to lose all of my songs since my dad deleted them for space.

Last Q: If I upgrade, will I keep all of my previous apps? Or am I basically restoring it + adding a new firmware.

    1.1.5 is basically 1.1.4 w/ bugfixes. A no-no.

There's Quake4iphone, NES, OpenSSH, Customize, and Winterboard. Those are the big ones I can think of.

    Edit: Spoonforknife's thread for that.
