Is there any way i could upgrade from a 16 gb to a 32 gb ipod touch. Instead of having to buy a whole new one? Cause i am worries i might run out of space soon cause i have lots of music and i wanna load it up with some videos. I don't wanna buy a whole new ipod touch cause that would be like $350 to $400, and i don't have that kind of money. I barley had enough to buy the 16gb.

I've never seen this asked before, call Apple?

It would just be a case of sticking more memory inside the Touch, it's not as though the 32GB model is bigger than the 16GB one.

Maybe you should delete old Apps, and Movies?

No, Apple doesn't have any trade-in/upgrade type thing.

They won't give you a discount on a 32GB for trading in your 16GB.

Not really trading mine in ^^^ I meant them like replacing the memory to make it bigger. Wouldn't be too much of a deal i'm guessing since they know the ipod touch inside and out.

Apple wouldn't do it for you. You do attempt it yourself, but I do not recommend it. If you need more capacity, sell your device and buy a new one.

Well one thing for sure. I wouldn't buy it from ebay or amazon or craigslist, i'm not buying a 32 gb ipod touch to find out it has loads of scratches and it's locked. Or it's broken cause the delivery guy dropped it. Or water damage. I'd just sell my old one and save up some extra money and get a new one i guess.

I simply recommend that you sell your current one on Ebay and purchase a new one.

If there was a way to get more space on a iPod without buying a new one then Apple would lose a lot of money on people who just would buy the cheapest one and get like a lot of space on it for a much cheaper price x]
