ive got an unlocked and jailbroken iphone 3g with firmware 2.2 on tmobile and i dont want to mess it up when i upgrade to 3.0. my current baseband is 02.28.00 and the sights i have seen say that i need to have 04.26.08 (or something close to that). I checked google, but can only find sights trying to tell me how to downgrade. How do i upgrade the right way? what baseband do i need? thanks.

    3.1.2 is completely unlock-able (use ultrasn0w).

To correct & clarify the above: upgrade to stock 3.1.2, jailbreak with blackra1n and then install blacksn0w to unlock the baseband.
