I was wondering, when the new 2.0 upgrade comes, can you upgrade iPod touch 1.0 to 2.0 directly or do you have to pay for the previous update first?

You will be able to go strait from 1.0 to 2.0 with no problem. But why not upgrade to 1.1.4?

I'm guessing you mean do you have to pay for the Jan App Pack and there has been no mention of having to do that before the upgrade.

    Yep, that's what I ment

I can't see any technical reason why I couldn't do. There is a discount on a iPod Touch in a local store, but they are revision A. So I'm not going to benefit from that discount, If I have to pay for both of the upgrades.
