upgrading from 1.1.5

    Just trying to upgrade from 1.1.5 to firmware 2.02...dont know how to go about this...should I jailbreak 1.1.5 first and then do a clean restore to 2.02?? then use quickpwn to jailbreak 2.02..please advise

    Does not matter. You can just download the bought 2.0 firmware and then restore. 2.0.0 is best for jailbreaking in my opinion.

    Looks like I have to correct all of your posts..
    Jailbreaking 2.0 (or 2.0.0, apparently, even though it's 2.0) is no different from jailbreaking any of the other 2.x firmwares.

    OP: Do a clean restore to 2.0.2 and use QuickPwn.

    No need to get cranky.

    I tried jailbreaking with 2.0.2 and it did not work for me. That is my experience. I comnsider myself a very knowledgeable ipod touch user.

    I guess if he says you can then you can jailbreak 2.0.2 and 2.0.1.

    ok guys..the 1.1.5 firmware version isnt letting me clean restore to 2.02..I have ipsw file for 2.02 and whenever I Shift click restore...the restoring process starts and then Itunes gives an error..think it is error 6...dont know what to do plz help

    It's probably because the device goes through some big changes when going from 1.x to 2.x.
    Try putting it in DFU mode.
