Okay, I have my 3GS since release and it's right now 3.0 jailbroken, NOW I finally decided to upgrade it to 3.1.2 and jailbreak it with blackra1n but I can't! When i try to upgrade it using my iTunes, it says the firmware file is not authorized...or something like that (Apple stopped signing the firmawares?). Is there a way I can upgrade? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I heard snowbreeze can jailbreak iPhone 3GS(?) but only the old bootrom models, how do I know my iphone 3gs is the old model? Got it the first week of July 09.

Well you have the old bootrom.. But you should probably just stay on 3.0. if it is that big of a deal..

as long as you dont need an unlock..( I STRESS THIS, there may never be an unlock for 5.12.x)
Upgrade your iPhone to 3.1.3(MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE OLD BOOTROM, I'm 99% sure that youll be fine) then just get all the necessary files for sn0wbreeze, run it and you should be jailbroken.
