So I just upgraded my Jailbroken Touch 1st gen, firmware from 2.1 to 2.2, and now none of my jailbroken apps will work.

I upgraded using iTunes and forgot to backup not realizing it would mess all my apps.

Can I restore or reinstall 2.1 without losing the apps/settings/saved files?
Or can I at least back up those files somehow and then do a fresh reinstall/jailbreak?
Should I use the backup file that iTunes creates, and how do I get to it?

What are my options? Please help...

    Thanks.

    no you can't.

you have to re-download it from the appstore.

firmware 2.2 is just fine, just restore again, jailbreak again, and download again the apps that you're previously using.

    my suggestion? don't feel lazy.
