I purchased the 3.0 upgrade from itunes and regret it. my ipod now dosnt always turn on properly and when you click on the settings it just remains blank giving me no options on the settings to change things like brightness, connecting to the internet ect. I have tried to use the old software to restore it but i get an "error message 20" and i now dont no what to do. please help me.
    Thanks.

Just use a normal restore because that's a software problem. If after the restore, everything's still messed up, try a DFU restore.

If you didn't jailbreak or anything and it continues to do that with a fresh 3.0 update I suggest you take it to apple because their responsible for that kind of stuff under warranty, assuming you are still under the warranty.

What do you mean by "It doesn't turn on properly"?
Do you mean that when you turn on the iPod, then when it's about to show the lockscreen it shows a black screen?
    'Cause that's a bug..
And if it doesn't let you restore, then do a DFU Restore

    Just do a normal restore.

Then update when 3.1 comes out.
