Ok so ive been goin with 1.1.2 jailbreak for a couple months now, and its worked great, but i wanna do a full restore, and might as well update my version. Which version has less bugs concerning apps, and the installer, and .. well everything in general. Which runs smoother?

    What would you suggest?

I don't know because I have 1.1.4 and I've had NO problems what so ever...that includes working SMB and Customize.
Everything works for me, I'll say 1.1.4
and install the compatibility patch so you can install both, 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 apps..

    that patch is on installer.

    RESTORE IPOD to 1.1.4
    Open Ziphone (2.6 preferred)
    Jailbreak iPod
Go to installer look for Compatibility patch and install
    It should be somewhere.
    that simple

At the end is worth it.
If you freshly restore and JB, your system wont lag as much, you may ask why?
well. After you install many apps, they create folders for cache or anything, after you delete them, they still leave extra stuff behind. So I recomend just wiping the whole thing

    +rep if I helped
