    I have iPhone 3GS jailbroken with Blackra1n. Firmware 3.1.2(7D11), Model MC131B, modem firmware 05.11.07.

Is there a way to upgrade to 3.1.3 or 3.2 if available, jailbreak using spirit and keep all the programs on the phone.

Basically can i upgrade the firmware without having to install all my apps again?

Go on iTunes ans sync your iphone apps. Then backup your iPhone. Restore and update. Restore from backup on iTunes.

I dont have it unblocked anyway as i am on O2 with a contract at the moment. What i am concerned about is i work away from home for long periods and my wifes phone is the same, if it went hay wire when away then she would loose most of her apps. Also we have IBluenova and attachment saver which i have paid for, and dont wanna loose them.

If you have 3.1.2, it would be a waste of time to put 3.1.3 on there. It's the same thing, besides you can't unlock it anymore. You could just get the fake 3.1.3 app on cydia if you want it to say 3.1.3.
