hello I am on 2.0.1 and been having problems left right and center and am tempted to leave it unjailbroken, well for now anyway

so is it worth it to upgrade 2.0.2 because ive been hearing alot of bad things about it including app crashes and lags while 2.0.1 hardly have any lags except for 3rd party apps but I blame the developers for that and far less crashes than it did in 2.0

so is it worth it or restore to trust worthy 2.0.1

yeah, it is worth it, i get a stronger signal now, and if you don't like it and it lags for you, you can just restore with a 2.0.1 if you want.

does that include wifi as well or just 3g/edge signals

one question, when I back up will the restore work because when I upgrade from 2.0 to 2.0.1 the backup was currupt and the same when I restore to 2.0.1 (all jailbroken firmwares)

um, it should work, but let it do the backup and don't do anything else on your computer, just leave the itunes window up front and let is backup.

    OP: Your signal shouldn't improve.
2.0.2 contains a baseband update for the 3G, but the newest baseband for the original iPhone is still 04.05.04 (introduced on 2.0b6 or 2.0 final).
