    i was wondering,

what if a person decides to update your ipod before you jailbreak it?
will updating the ipod to the latest version make you IMPOSSIBLE to jailbreak?
cuz i heard it fixes the TIFF EXPLOIT which idk what that means.. but it seems bad cuz if you update it, you wont be able to jailbreak ur ipod. and possibly brick it.

i also heard its best if you update it to the lastest version. cuz it fixes the negative black thingyy.. and jailbreaking is possible?? NOT SURE?

so what should i do? update the ipod touch to the latest version then jailbreak, or jailbreak it without updating.

i also need to get this straight. will updating ruin jailbreaking or will updating cause no harm at all and will be possible to jailbreak.

    thanks guys!

If you're updating to firmware 1.1.1 you can still jailbreak it. I don't know of any firmware released since, but you may not be able to do it in the future.
