Updating to 8.2?

    Anyone know if it is okay to update to iTunes 8.2 if jailbroken with redsnow?

    Yes, it is fine to update. Although if you have a 1G, then don't.

    if updating to 3.0 I wouldnt recommend it.

    Wait, why? I am still waiting to upgrade to 8.2 because of the alleged problems.

    it messes with the way the ipod touch 1g and iphones talk to quickpwn, but because the 2g uses a different software and dirver (not sure about the driver) its safe. just dont plan on hacking someone else's iphones/ ipod touch 1g's on that comp.

    you can if you have the itunes 8.2 beta release, which i do, that doesnt mess up the way the devices interact. here is the link http://********.net/download/
