From 1.1.1 ( yes incredible, long story lol ) to 3.0 will erase all my data from ipod? music etc... ¿?

It is jailbroken, so will it crash, brick or something of the sort?

    Any comments are apreciated

You will lose your music, videos etc, so do back them up. No, upgrading it to 3.0 will neither crash nor brick your iPod.

If you jailbreak a firmware, how does that mean it bricks?

do not update onto a jailbroken firmware, first you have to restore, then update, then resync, then jailbreak with the lastest tools (redsn0w 0.8)

don't pirate programs, but a fewthat come to mind are sharepod and pod to pc/pod to mac (i think), as for restoring,. there should be a little tab underneath check for update on the ipod page once it is plugged in, it is there, you might want to do a DFU restore to get rid of all traces of the jailbreak but it's up to you

I never experienced 1.1.1. When I got my refurbished 1G (becuase I don't like how the 2G looks) I synced it with iTunes and updated immediately. I bet it was boring.

    Rip Music

The most accurate way to get music off the iPods is too do it manually but over SSH I'm not sure how long it'd take to transfer the files. Lemme find the music and I'll get back to you in about 5 minutes.

EDIT: All the music is in: /var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music
In there there are several folders such as F00, F01, etc.
Enable "Copy files to iTunes music folder when added to library" in iTunes Preferences. Its under the advanced tab. Although those files have a weird name on the iPod, they will automatically rename on the computer once added. Drag and drop each music file from those F folders into iTunes and you're done. Takes a while if you have a lot of music
