Hey there, mind if I ask something?

I want to update my 1Generation iPod touch, is currently running on 2.2 and i want 2.2.1, mainly to install Illuminati, a free promo app for the movie "Angels and Demons" (bad excuse, I know but I love the book). Dev Blog only say that I should update to 2.2.1 from iTunes and then run QuickPwn, the question is if the iTunes upgrade delete all my files: music, video, photos, Mail, et al. I already made a backup a few months ago but the annoying part was setting up the way I like it again so it would be cool if i dont have to do that again.
    Any clue regarding this?

I still have 21 minutes to think this before downloading the upgrade finish kewl

    Thanks!!!

Yeah if you upgrade in iTunes, it won't delete your music, video's and so on.

Upgrading will remove the content from your iPod. It is in iTunes, though. Sync your iPod, then update. iTunes then syncs your files and settings back over.
