    Hi.

Is there a way to update Pwnage without deleting all of the apps you already installed?

If not, is there a backup feature one can use? Or should I just backup using ssh?

What do you do when you have a lot of programs and you want to update your jailbroken ipod touch without losing those programs and media.

    Thank you.

Upgrade to 2.1 using itunes. Note: Do not shift+click the restore, click update!
Then you can use QuickPwn to jailbreak. This will save all your appstore apps, but not your jailbroken apps. Hope this helps!

The links to your old Cydia/Installer apps in /var/stash will be broken after you upgrade and reinstall Cydia via the Jailbreak. AptBackup will reinstall the programs that were stored when you backed up the iPod to sync, but you have to manually delete the old Applications folder afterwards.
