After a sync with iTunes, when I turn on my iPod and go to "Music", the screen is blank except for a note icon (like the default album art) and a notice saying "Updating Library". It takes about a minute for it to finally show my music. Does it do this because I have too many songs? I have about 1,000, but that's not a lot compared to others who have larger-sized iPods.

I think it has to rebuild the database, so it would take a bit.

Yah, to refresh 1,000 songs I figured youre probably gonna have to deal with it.
Hope its not too much of a setback, not much you can do about it I guess...
