    Hi,

yesterday I updated my jailborken iPod Touch 2.0.2 to 2.1 via iTunes 8.
On the 2.02, I had BossPrefs installed and moved the original Preferences.app to the BossPrefs dock (it then gets automatically hidden from the springboard).
Now after the update to 2.1, BossPrefs is of course gone, but so is Preferences! I can't change anything, not even disable WiFi.

I then proceeded to perform the 2.1 Jailbreak via QuickPwn, which worked fine but even after replacing the MobileInstallations file and deleting the cache file as stated in the instructions, neither Cydia nor Installer show up.
Using Total Commander and the T-Pot plugin, I have access to the complete file system of the Touch.

My plan was to reinstall BossPrefs to get back Preferences, but that doesn't work.

Any ideas how I can get SpringBoard to show the Preferences.app again?
Or even better, how to get Cydia/Installer to show up?

I really don't want to restore, because I'm currently not at home and would lose all my music.

restore seems like the only option, if you can access the media folder you can copy your music over to the pc via SSH that way you wont loose it
