I updated mobile substrate yesterday and since then my springboard keeps crashing and goes into SAfe Mode. A popup comes up that says that mobile substrate actually prevented the problem which is obviously false. I've re-sprung many times, restarted my iPod , reinstalled mobile substrate and I am starting to think I may have to restore my iPod anyone else have this problem or have a solution to it.

This is most likely caused by WeatherIcon.

If you do not have specific advice in this type of situation, don't post something like this. Most experienced users (look at their join date) already know that restoring is the last resort, but have highly customized setups and would prefer not to do it.

Same problem with me. I look at my ipod to check the time one min. Next min, ipod sad face. AND I DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH IT. It's a pain in the butt to re-arrange a 6x5 springboard every 5 mins.

Yeah I just keep mine in safe mode when I'm listening to music now because having to re spring ever 5-minutes and stopping my music is a pain so I'l just keep in safe mode until use anything else.

Hopefully 3,1 will be out soon So I don't have to restore twice.

I had the same problem earlier today when I was listening to music. It happened twice. Strangely, I resprung (thus closing the music app) and it hasn't happened since. Although I have yet to try listening to music again

Is there a way to downgrade MobileSubstrate to before this started happening?
