iOS 4.1 Update to 4.1 and Preserve Your baseband!

    This WILL NOT allow an unlock on an iPhone 3G, 4.1, which is currently un-jailbreakable and no unlock can be installed. This will allow people to test 4.1 without loosing the ability to downgrade and unlock.

    This was for 3G users who didn't have blobs on file for 3.1.2 and who needed a preserved baseband.

    Before you start, make sure you have 4.0 blobs on file. That way you can downgrade to a jailbreakable firmware if necessary.

    And somebody PLEASE try to jailbreak this firmware with redsn0w and see if you have the WiFi/Data issues everybody else ran into...

    no but its risky i'm waiting for ih8snow to release his soft for 4.1
