Should i update my Ipod Touch that i jailbroke with QuickFreedom to redsnOw?

If i do do that will it completly reset everything like all of my apps and info. I have a lot done as far as customization and i would hate to lose all of it.

i wldnt unless logo me is that important cuz when i did with untertherizer it got stuck in a boot loop but ever since i used redsn0w i seem have more ram free and everything seems a lot faster so its rly your choice but just remember that redsn0w sometimes fails if you used anther program to jailbreak

I did, and would recommend it.

You will not lose anything, just use redsnow 0.3

I did, trust me, LogoMe is TOTALLY worth it. Just make sure to backup with aptbackup.

so its safe to just run redsn0w 0.3 on a Quickfreedom jailbroken ipod touch 2G 2.2.1?

is it as simple as just putting it in DFU mode and running the redsn0w.exe?

*edit i got impatient and went for it

    it worked fine!

lol thats a mission and a half, id rather double click redsn0w.exe and let it do its thing.

i ended up restoring and doing it again, took around 15mins, because i figured cydia wouldn't update my apps because they were not in the list. all sorted now, i didnt have many apps so it was all o.k. doing it over.

o.o Quickfreedom allows you to change it once. After that you have to rejailbreak to change the logo.

Redsn0w + Logome allows you to change it whenever you want, with no restore.
