...Something that i was just thinking about...
My iphone has firmware 2.1 on it and is jailbroken with QuickPwn. The current version of the iphone and ipod touch firmware is 2.1, however, after 2.2 comes out, and i want to update my iphone, can i just let itunes do the update on top of my current jailbroken firmware, or do i have to restore it first and then update to 2.2?

Just update to 2.2. You should be fine.

Personally, I would restore. Just to be safe.

I tried updating to 2.2, but it won't even let me. o.0 It says the current version right now is 2.1, which is wrong.

2.2 isn't out publically yet. It's in developer private beta.
