Up iPhone Memory

    I just ordered an iphone 2g with no plan. Got it for 80 bucks. It's a 4gb model. Do you think I could bump it up to 8gb.

    If we couldn't replace the chip, we could use an sd card adapter.

    Oh and by the way, memory is not the same as capacity.

    You would need to take the device apart, take out w/e storage hardware they use, and replace it. But have fun bricking your well spent $80 device!

    And for the record, I highly doubt iPods use SD cards
