ok so here are the lines I'm inputting into terminal and the errors

    unzip /private/var/root/Downloads Sendfile.zip
    error msg- command not found

    cd unzip /private/var/root/Downloads SendFile.zip
    error message-cd:too many aruguments

and then I just tried cd unzip on its own and got cd:no such file or directory.

when I look in mobile finder to see where the unzip files are this is the order of folders...so what it says in the little area above the mobilefinder:

    /
    /private
    /var
    /root
    ~
    ~/bin

and in there are these files: funzip, unzip, unrar, unzipsfx, root.zip and a folder called sqlutils thats empty. what am I doing wrong? also it seems that when I try to dl zip files from here they are dling as attachment.php but when I followed the link to the zip on ericas site they dled as zips. why is that?

Hi, i havn't tried, but i think your problem is unix related. The ipod is essentially running a mod of unix.

    try running:

    ./unzip /private/var/root/Downloads/Sendfile.zip

perhaps it need you to define a destination dir which can be done this way:

    ./unzip /private/var/root/Downloads/Sendfile.zip /private/var/root/Downloads/unzipped

    remember it's case sensitive!

That's how it works in a normal unix shell.
    Hope it helps.

Oh, perhaps you need to run it as super user which is done by:

    sudo ./unzip /private/var/root/Downloads/Sendfile.zip /private/var/root/Downloads/unzipped

then it will ask for your root password.
