Sorry if this comes off a bit n00bish, but what about a source remover that only deletes sources that you have downloaded no apps from.

I installed one of those 'install heaps of rad sources' apps, which is cool and as a result I have downloaded heaps of cool new apps. Now i want to get rid of most of those sources so my installer doesn't take 30 minutes to refresh, but I'm worried I won't know if there are any important updates for the great apps I have installed.

If there was a way to automatically delete sources that aren't attached to any installed apps, and just leave the ones that you need to ensure your software stays up to date, it would be awesome.

    Any Ideas?

Actually it would be alot of work but I think it could be done.
If you look under /Library/Installer theres a plist called LocalPackages that contains information of all the things youve installed. So you could go through that and make a new source list, which is the PackageSources.plist.
Be a rather bugga doing it by hand tho, but still Im sure it can be done.
