What did you use to jailbreak your ipod touch?

You should just try to use something called quickfreedom. It jailbreaks the ipod touch in 5 steps. Also you should go to iTunes and plug your ipod in and then go to your ipod setting and SHIFT+CLICK Restore. then restore back to your custom firmware you made.

He obviously used a tethered jailbreak. Just put into DFU, restore to original firmware, and then re-jailbreak with Quickfreedom. Then you'll be able to shut down and reboot your iPod as much as you want.
