I have an ipod touch 3rd generation and i put the 3.1.2 software onto it and the jailbreak process worked. But the problem was once it had to reboot to download something onto it, it would come up with an error saying that i need to plug it into itunes and restore it. What do I do so that i can fix this problem?

When it's plugged in run blackra1n again. You will have to do that every time you completely turn it off.

You might also want to tell people that they're most likely not going to release it until next year.

Being Thethered is truly not a problem I think, you have to reboot so rarely, you won't even notice it

And anyways, if you run at 0 battery, thetered or not you won't be able to use it before you find a PC to plug it ^^

Unless you have a wall-plug adapter

. But you would have to be pretty stupid or unlucky to have it run out of battery before pluging it...

I think you misinterpreted Geohot's post about having an untethered blacksn0w running on the 3G and 3Gs (referring to the iPhone)
