So I bought a 16gb 2nd gen iPod Touch off of eBay a few days ago. Once it got here I plugged it into my computer, and restored the firmware (3.1). Only problem is that the touch screen doesn't work. I've checked the headphone jack, and the litmus paper inside is still white so there shouldn't be any water damage.
Any ideas on how to fix it? My guess was to replace the digitizer inside.

    Yup

Rebooted by holding lock+home button, nothing changed. Also firmly pressing didn't help at all ethier.

You should contact the seller. unless the seller stated that it has issues on the screen.
