    Hello all!

Well I have a few doubts, the answers to which I have not been able to find after looking around for quite some time.

    1. Exactly what all file types are compatible to be viewed through Safari using the file:/// patch? Is there a list? Are HTML HELP files compatible?

    2. I am currently using TPOT and Total Commander to browse my Ipod's local directories. The thing is that I am not able to put a pdf file onto the ipod because it is 170mb and the empty space on my OS partition is around 130mb after using bosstool. How can I access the media partition?

    3. Is there a way to "Find" a word in Safari? The way we do Ctrl+F in Mozilla?

    4. I am going to buy a 32gb Touch also, is Apple going to increase the price of the Ipods which have the new 2.0 firmware?

I have an 8gb touch, 1.1.4, jailbroken using iliberty

    Thanks!

i have no idea about those, but if they are HTML, you should be able to. I guess the way to find out would be to try it.

Books can read HTML files, can't it?

    /var/mobile/library/ebooks (I think)

Well, I've tried out word documents and pdf files and they work just fine. Infact, I am also able to use the bookmarklets search function within them.

    Another query:

    1. I have put a season of a TV series onto the touch, but the names of it are very long and the episode number is written at the end of the file name. The thing is that the touch doesn't display the full name. Is there any way to get the same done?

Hmm...its a little tedious to sit down and rename 60-70 odd episodes...but well...

    Another thing:

I have started using the File:/// function quite often. Is there any way of displaying the list of files in a folder? I was thinking that maybe I could make an HTML file which has links to all of my files and maybe link everything through that. It should work, but is there any other simpler way?

I hope my questions help someone somewhere...
