Ok, so let's say I buy an iPhone 3G, and use a TurboSim to Unlock it and use it with T-mobile and I jailbreak it as well.

and then 3.0 comes out, while my iPhone is on 2.2.1

How would I go about updating to it?

    will I have to:

-buy a new turbosim for 3.0
-and use some special way to upgrade to 3.0?

Or can I just hit update in itunes, and use my turbosim?
I've seen some people on youtube saying that once you use a turbosim, iTunes doesn't let you upgrade?

I plan on buying an iPhone 3G, use a turbosim on 2.2.1, and jailbreak it

So yah, please tell me how I would go about updating to 3.0 and keeping T-Mobile on it.

Sorry if this is a n00bish question

you can use yellowsn0w right now
update to 2.2.1, and when asks you if you want to baseband upgrade, dont do it
all you have to do now is use basebanddowngrader(cydia) and yellowsn0w(cydia)
then turbo sim in 3.0 would prob work i guess?

Wait until 3.0 is released and see what the community suggests then.. At present there is no software unlock for iPhone 3G new stock on 2.2.1 never mind 3.0... I am unaware of the situation with paid hardware unlocks, but we don't allow discussion of them here, so would suggest you go to a forum that supports discussion of them...
