    Yo,

    Go to Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network

    Then for:

    APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk
    Username: wap
    Password: wap

This is what I use, and it works fine. Give it a go, and tell me if it works

EDIT: I am on 2.2 still, it should work for 3.0, but I'm just warning you, it might not.

hey man just a quick question: when u bought ur iPhone in a O2 shop did they allow you to activate at home without taking your details or forcing u to sign up for an O2 plan? Thanks.

Well, I think the 3G is determined by data plan. I think :/

But yeah, mine isn't as fast as 3G, but still does the job
