I'm running 3.1.3 jailbroken with spirit, i've noticed some battery drain with it, how do i unjailbreak? (if i unjailbreak would it help the battery any) and should i just directly update to 4.1 instead of "unjailbreaking" it? any battery drain in 4.1?

    Thanks

Just being jailbroken won't cause any battery problems at all, rather the tweaks you run could cause your battery to drain a bit faster depending on how many you have running and how much each one taxes your hardware. I would recommend updating to 4.1 and then jailbreaking that to get the best performance and battery life.

Restore to a stock firmware and don't restore from backup and you'll be unjailbroken completely.

I would just update to 4.1. It will unjailbreak, give you new features, and you can jailbreak again if you decide to.

Well it might be wrong but on your site info you say you have the original iPod which isn't supported past 3.1.3.

Upgrading may cause problems. You must restore.
