    Hello iPod Touch community,

I have been having a blast with my Jailbroken iPod Touch 2G but, I have been frowning upon all of the 3.0 games that I can't play (TTR3, etc.). I want to know if this is possible:

UnJailbreak my iPod Touch to a normal iPod Touch 2G (on a macbook)
    and then
ReJailbreak my iPod Touch from a normal iPod Touch to the newest software (idk, 3.0 or current on my macbook).

If this is possible and if there are simple instructions, could anyone please help me??? I really want to play these games

    1. Restore your iPod
    2. Update with 3.1.2 (NOT 3.1.3!!!)
    3. Jailbreak with Pwnage Tool or whatever
    4. Sync all your stuff back over

Ok, so all I have to do is download a free version of 3.12, Jailbreak it as if it is a 3G ipod touch (Jailbreak it for version 3.12), and thats it???

If you could post links and/or a video, it would be greatly appreciated

Didn't I pay for my iPod Touch??? I was just wondering///

Ok, I am downloading (iPod2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw) right now (is this the right version for my 2.2 Jailbroken ipod touch???) and i was wondering what else to do from here?

    Here is what I think:

    1) Finish Downloading 3.12 firmware
    2) Restore my iPod back to normal
    3) Upgrade to 3.12
    4) Jailbreak

If I am going to brick my iPod Touch, please tell me now because I love that thing

No. Shift-click the restore in iTunes, and choose the 3.1.2 file you downloaded. Then jailbreak using redsn0w, blaickra1n whatever.
