Uninstalling Calculator/Contacts

    i rarely use these 2 apps- calculator and contacts and i was wondering if there is a way to uninstall them/remove them from the springboard. If so... explanation.

    Why not just use Customize and hide them?

    o word, how do i do that? is that what the eye is for cuz idk how 2 use it

    You could delete them through SSH, but I'm not sure that's the best choice.

    would deleting apps such as contacts make more memory available for other apps?

    Barely. A few hundred kilobytes at best.

    Yup, that's what the eye is for in Customize. Open it up, click on Icon Display Order, click on Manual Reorder, click on the eye in the upper right hand corner, then click on the icons you want to turn off.

    Just make SURE before you close Customize that you don't hide necessary icons like Customize, Installer, etc. - it's a pain having to instruct people how to make their icons visible again... just pay attention to what you're doing...

    I feel like an idiot, i went through CyberDuck to get on the iPod, and deleted Mobileaddressbook.app
    Now none of the icons work...help?

    Nevermind, I rebooted the iPod and Contacts is gone, its all good

    all u have to do is go into mobile finder and delete It from there simple
